Walt Disney World Character Dining: Cape May Cafe

Walt Disney World Character Dining: Cape May Cafe

Character Dining is always a wildly popular choice when trying to decide what to do on your Walt Disney World vacation. Character Dining can be found inside the parks and outside of the parks at select resorts. Cape May Café is a character breakfast option at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. For dinner, this restaurant is a non-character option.

The Beach Club Resort is such a lovely resort! If you have not stayed here or visited the property, I highly recommend it! When booking a character breakfast at this location, get excited to head on over to Minnies Beach Bash Breakfast at Cape May Café! It is so fun to see select characters dressed in their beach best attire!

When checking in for our reservation, we were seated almost immediately. Once we sat, we all were able to enjoy delicious POG juice followed by Salted Caramel “Beach Buns” served with vanilla cream. This was delicious!

On to the breakfast buffet – the options looked quite tasty! There was options such as fruits, yogurt parfaits, Danishes and breads, oatmeal and grits, waffles and French toast, biscuits and gravy, eggs benedict, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and a delicious omelet and carve meat station! I will say my favorite of all were the delicious crepes! Once we sat down and began to eat, the characters began to make their way through!

We were able to meet Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Daisy! Throughout the experience, they stopped to have a little beach bash dance party!

When traveling to Walt Disney World, I always recommend looking into resort character dining experiences! For this particular trip, we did this as soon as we arrived for our vacation! It was the perfect way to kick start our amazing Walt Disney World vacation!

Why choose a resort character dining experience?

- A great opportunity to meet certain characters without waiting in lines at the parks.

- Delicious food and new experiences at different resorts, who knows maybe after visiting that resort it will spark your interest in a new resort to stay at next time that you would not have thought of before!

- A great way to experience characters and the Disney magic outside of the parks and can enjoy this on a resort day/ rest day!

I highly recommend asking your travel agent advice on reservations for character dining and which character dining experience would be best fitting for you and your family!
