Why did you want to become a Travel Planner?
My family and friends always seem to be directed to me as the go-to person on all things Disney, so I thought, why not do something I love? I have so much fun going through all the details and planning out my own trips and there is nothing I love more than to just talk Disney - with anyone who will listen!
What is your favorite Disney theme park?
I love them all but there is something just so classically Disney about the Magic Kingdom. I am a girly girl and a love a good crown so I feel most at home where you will find so many attractions dedicated to the princesses.
What is your favorite attraction and why?
While it is really difficult to choose just one, I would have to say Soarin'. I like playing the games in the queue (which is more importantly air conditioned!) and there's nothing like that feeling you get as you fly over the worlds landmarks, along with smells to fully immerse you in the experience. It's best if you can get on the front row!
Are you an early bird or a night owl during your Disney vacations?
I am a rope-drop to fireworks kind of girl! Every moment spent at Disney is precious so I try to do as much as possible on each trip, while still having a bit of down between activities.
What is your favorite WDW resort?
My favorite resort to stay at is Port Orleans - Riverside. I am from Texas so it's southern charm makes me feel at home. I also love the Royal Rooms that can be found there and having a fun evening with Yehaa Bob. My favorite resort to visit would have to be the Grand Floridian. The Victorian theming is just beautiful and I especially love visiting during the holidays to see the life-sized gingerbread house they create each year.
If you could work as a Cast Member, what would your dream job be?
I would want to be either a tour guide or a monorail driver.
What is your favorite Disney film?
Another one that is so hard to choose but I will go with Mary Poppins. It's a classic Disney film, features both live-action and animation, has a wonderful cast, is a musical and was a film that Walt worked so hard on for so long to bring to all of us. What more could you ask for?
What is your favorite Disney memory?
ONE of my favorite Disney memories (because there are just SO many!) was during a recent trip to Disneyland where I was able to check off a few of my Disney bucket list items. It was my first time to Disneyland and California Adventure (check, check); I went to a Disney park on my birthday (check); AND I got to ride in the front of the monorail (CHECK), which was something I thought I'd never get to do since they have discontinued that at Walt Disney World. The monorail was the first thing we did on my birthday and riding in the front made it seem like it was our own private ride and entrance into the park. So cool!
If you could ask Walt one question, what would you ask?
